The Scientific Council should become the engine of development in all areas of activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, — Kateryna Pavlichenko
This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs today, October 7, at the opening of the first meeting of the updated Scientific Council. As chairman of the board, she listened to the results of scientific research, and also named the tasks that still needed to be completed.
Since 2014, the active activity of the Scientific Council has decreased somewhat, and since then there have been many changes in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Therefore, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs decided to resume activities and by the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of July 18, 2022 No. 436, a permanent advisory body “Scientific Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine” was established under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kateryna Pavlichenko. The Council includes representatives of the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, NPU, State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, State Emergency Service of Ukraine, DMS, NGU, Higher Education Institutions, Research Institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as famous legal scientists of the National Academy of Legal Sciences and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and representatives of the public.
The Scientific Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will direct its efforts to carry out scientific and scientific and technical activities in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the creation of appropriate conditions for the conduct of such activities in institutions and institutions belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry.
“We must synchronize and ensure proper use of the results of scientific research, as well as their maximum implementation in the practical activities of the units. Therefore, among the priority tasks facing us are the identification of issues that require prompt resolution by the scientific community of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the preparation of the work plan of the Scientific Council for 2022—2023 and the reorientation of the scientific activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs taking into account our victory,” said Kateryna Pavlichenko.
After listening to the report of the director of the State Research Institute on the results of scientific research, inventions, developments, the deputy named the tasks that still need to be completed. After all, the Scientific Council should become an effective tool for solving these issues.
“We will focus on the maximum use of the opportunities of the scientific community, conceptually put order in the scientific activities of bodies, institutions and institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system. And the Scientific Council, through its recommendations on the implementation of scientific research and the introduction of innovations, should become the engine of development in all areas of activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs”, - added Kateryna Pavlichenko.
We also summed up the results of the competition among scientists. On behalf of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ekaterina Pavlichenko presented the award to the winners.
