“Finally my rage will turn into a real weapon,” - police officer of the assault brigade “Fury” Karina Tushevskaya
Karina is a native of Luhansk region. She spent 8 years of service in law enforcement agencies in the conditions of war. After all, not a year passed after the end of the departmental university, as the invasion began on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The policewoman remained faithful to the Oath and served with dignity on the line of demarcation. With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, she was evacuated to Khmelnytskyi region. But, as soon as there was an opportunity to join the liberation of her native Luhansk region, she joined the “Guard of the Offensive”.
Karina Tushevskaya is an example of strength, loyalty and indestructibility. In 2013, she graduated brilliantly from the Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs and was just beginning to make plans for the future. But less than a year later, war broke out in her native Luhansk region. Karina at that time worked as an investigator in the city. Happiness is right on the line of demarcation with the occupied territory. The policewoman did not betray the Oath and did not ask to the rear — on the contrary, she actively worked as part of the defense forces in the ATO/PLO holding area.
For 8 years, work in conditions of increased danger has become familiar for Karina Tushevskaya. However, after a full-scale invasion, the policeman had to leave her hometown and leave for Khmelnytskyi region. Karina worked in the Shepetov Regional Police Administration. But when she learned about the formation of the assault brigade “Fury”, without hesitation one of the first showed a desire to join.
“Finally my rage will turn into a real weapon. I have experience that will come in handy. And most importantly - the desire to realize his old dream: to liberate his native Luhansk region from the invaders. Ukrainian boys and girls have proven to themselves and the whole world: we have no weaker sex. All Ukrainians are warriors. Brave and desperate. Ready for anything for the sake of their family, children, native land,” says the police lieutenant.
