Tried to carry packages with banned substances: border guards cut off Moldovan citizen
Thus, during the inspection of the car of the brand “OPEL”, which was followed by a citizen of Moldova to leave Ukraine, the service dog of the border guards worked.

As a result of an in-depth inspection, a team consisting of border guards of the Izmail detachment, employees of the operational units of the State Fiscal Service and customs officers found under the door trim 7 plastic wrappers with a gray-green substance and one package with a powdered substance.
The rapid test confirmed that the herbal substance was marijuana, and the powder was amphetamine. The total weight of marijuana was 1.1 kg, the “powder” - 1 kilogram.
According to this fact, the border guards sent a message to the SBU in the Odessa region about the detection of signs of the commission of a criminal offense, provided for in part 3 of Art. 305 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Smuggling of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues or precursors or counterfeit medicines”.
Currently, the foreigner has been detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC, drugs have been seized for examination, the investigation is ongoing.
