Tried to bribe an investigating police: a developer was exposed in the capital (VIDEO)
At first, a private entrepreneur appropriated the funds allocated for the repair of bomb shelters, and then wanted to avoid punishment and offered a bribe to the investigating police.
However, the policeman immediately reported about the incident to the employees of the Kyiv City Department of Internal Security of the National Police.
Employees of the Kyiv Police Investigative Department, together with the DVB operatives, detained the attacker immediately after the transfer of $5,000.
Law enforcement officers detained the defendant in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He has already been informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 3 of Art. 369 (Offer, promise or provision of unlawful benefits to an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Now the entrepreneur will also have to be responsible for bribing an official.
The sanction of the article provides for a punishment of up to eight years in prison.
