Arrest of railway cars of Russian companies worth more than UAH 300 million
Currently, 434 cars have been transferred to the management of the ARMA.
Operatives of the Department of Strategic Investigations and investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police together with JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” in the framework of criminal proceedings established the belonging of 434 railway cars to Russian companies and their actual location.
In view of the full-scale aggressive war that the Russian Federation has unleashed and is waging against Ukraine, in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation on the forcible seizure of property rights of the Russian Federation and its residents, at the request of the Office of the Prosecutor General, these cars were arrested.
Currently, 434 railway cars worth more than UAH 300 million have been transferred to the Agency for Search and Asset Management with the right to use, own and dispose of money commercially. The funds received from the commercial use of the wagons will be used for the needs of the Armed Forces.
