The most difficult operations of the special forces of the National Guard “OMEGA”
Special unit “Omega” is one of the most combat-capable groups of the National Guard of Ukraine. The special forces gained experience in combat operations during all 9 years of the war, first in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the east of the country, and later in the battles for Kyiv region.
Since the beginning of 2022, the OZSP of the Central Territorial Department of the National Guard of Ukraine has not left Donetsk region. It was here that a group of this detachment met a full-scale enemy invasion. And one of the groups carried out a secret special operation to rescue the artillery of the marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who managed to get out of Azovstal.
