“The best reward for me is the saved life and health of my brothers” - border guard “Otaman”

On February 24, the border guard with the nickname “Otaman” met at the service. Within a few days, as part of a consolidated mobile group, he went to the direction of Gostomel — Kyiv.
Border guards together with units of the Armed Forces repelled the armed attack of the Russian Federation.
In one of the large-scale battles, under heavy artillery shelling, the border guards managed to repel an attack by Russian troops, destroying one tank, an Orlan reconnaissance drone and five Kamikaze drones.
For his courage and patriotism, Otaman was awarded the badge “For Courage in Service”. Nevertheless, the border guard himself says that for him the best reward is the preserved life and health of his brothers.
