State of emergency in Ukraine: What will change and what you need to be prepared for

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine at its meeting chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky adopted a decision to impose a state of emergency on the entire territory of Ukraine, with the exception of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, where the Joint Forces Operation is ongoing.
For reference. According to the Law “On the Legal Regime of the State of Emergency”, a state of emergency in Ukraine can be introduced for a period of not more than 30 days and not more than 60 days in certain regions of Ukraine. If necessary, the state of emergency may be extended by the President, but not more than 30 days.
