Superhuman endurance and invulnerability: the SNSS rescuer ran an ultramarathon in full gear
On Sunday, September 17, on the Day of the Rescuer, Vladimir Skovorodka, a firefighter-rescuer with a weight of more than 25 kilograms, ran an ultra-marathon distance of 50 kilometers, which is a new record of Ukraine. The route ran through the streets of the capital, its outskirts and in the middle of the city. After the record, the rescuer traveled another 12.7 kilometers.
Overcoming such a distance should demonstrate the strength and endurance of Ukrainian rescuers who are the first to come to the rescue.
Also, the route of the run was built in such a way as to attract people's attention to the places of attack of the invaders in the capital of Ukraine.
The race is dedicated to the memory of the dead rescuers and civilians who were victims of Russian bombings.
During the race, a charity fundraiser for the needs of the rescuers of the Emergency Service of Ukraine continued.
