The National Police opened criminal proceedings on the fact of DDoS attacks on Ukrainian web resources
Today, February 15, attackers carried out powerful DDoS attacks on a number of information resources of Ukraine. At the request of one of the state banks, the cyber police began a check.
In particular, interruptions in the operation of web services of state banks were recorded. The sites of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine were also attacked.
As of 19:30 the work of banking web resources was resumed. The working group of specialists from the main actors of the national cybersecurity system takes all necessary measures to counteract and localize the cyber attack.
According to this fact, the Chief Investigator of the National Police Department opened criminal proceedings under Articles 361 (unauthorized interference in the operation of automated systems and 363-1 (intentional mass distribution of telecommunications messages, which led to disruption of the operation of automated systems) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
