The attackers have established a channel for the supply and sale of pseudo-ephedrine pills banned in Ukraine. Monthly those involved sold about 100 thousand tablets.

The leader of the group, who lives abroad, sent pills to his accomplices, who sold them throughout the country using a postal service.

Operatives of the Drug Control Department together with the investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police in cooperation with the operational units under the procedural direction of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine stopped the criminal activity of the drug group.

The illegal activity was organized by a 39-year-old citizen of Ukraine, who is now in Poland. He took a 55-year-old girl from his accomplices. The man sent the pills through logistics companies to his partner, who stored them at the place of residence and packaged them in small doses.

“Goods” were advertised on web resources, which the leader of the group personally administered, and for the direct sale of prohibited substances, they attracted three residents of the capital aged 26 to 48 years, who sold them through postal items. Every month, those involved sold about 100,000 banned pills, receiving more than two million hryvnias of profit per month.

Law enforcers with the strong support of the soldiers of the special unit of TOR conducted 10 simultaneous sanctioned searches of the places of residence of the defendants in the territory of Kiev, Donetsk, Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions, where they seized more than 11 thousand pseudo-ephedrine pills. From this amount of raw material, the keepers of drug laboratories could produce about 7 kg of methamphetamine.

Three participants were detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Investigators have already informed them of the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 311 (Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, transfer of precursors committed repeatedly by an organized group in particularly large sizes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court chose preventive measures for them in the form of detention with the right to make bail in the amount of two million hryvnias each.

Suspects face up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
