The National Police conducted a large-scale special operation to detain criminals in the Odessa region
The so-called “curator” of the region — the “lawman” nicknamed “Lavasogli-Batumsky”, who has close ties to the criminal law of the Russian Federation, and his five “patrons” were informed of the suspicion, two “spies” were detained. In addition, the issue of forced expulsion of criminal representatives from the “lawless” environment is resolved.
Employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police continue to carry out a comprehensive work to clear the country of criminal representatives who are trying to establish their “laws and rules of conduct”. During the operational activities, the police received evidence of the involvement of persons with the highest ranks in the hierarchy of the criminal world in the organization and participation in the so-called “escape”.
It was established that with the participation of the sanctioning “villain in the law” nicknamed “Lavasogli-Batumsky” a criminal meeting took place, where candidates of persons were determined and appointed as “spies” in the detention center and outside the city of Chernomorsk. In addition, they selected among the arrested and at will persons who will be responsible for the collection and distribution of funds of the “criminal community”, as well as for the “curation” of criminal groups that plan to “work” in the territory of the region.
It is known that the 41-year-old Georgian “bull in law” Lavasogli-Batumsky is part of the closest circle of a “colleague” nicknamed “Shakro the Young”, who supports the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and gave his “good” to the participation of Russian prisoners in hostilities. Having friendly relations with “Lavasogli-Batumi”, “Shakro the Young” wanted to use his ties in favor of the aggressor state.
Therefore, in order to prevent the realization of criminal intentions and the spread of its influence by criminality, the agents of the Department together with the Terra Management of Strategic Investigations in the Odessa region, investigators of the regional police and employees of the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office conducted a special operation. According to its results, two “spies” were detained outside the city of Chernomorsk and a separate corps in the detention center.
In general, on the basis of the evidence collected during the investigation, six representatives of the criminal investigation were informed of the suspicion. Among them are the “guards in the law” nicknamed “Lavasogli-Batumsky”, four so-called “spies” - after the state institution “Odessa Investigative Isolator” and its individual buildings, outside the city of Chernomorsk, as well as the former “curator” of this city.
Representatives of the highest hierarchy of the criminal world are incriminated for the commission of criminal offenses provided for: parts 2 and 3 of Art. 255-1 (Establishment or dissemination of criminal influence), part 1 of Art. 255-2 (Organization, assistance in conducting or participating in a criminal assembly (shooting)) of the CCU.
In addition, according to the results of 29 authorized searches of the places of residence and detention of suspects, as well as persons close to them, weapons, money, prohibited substances, cars, as well as instructions on how to behave and what to say in case of detection by law enforcement officers were seized.
The issue of the choice of preventive measures for detained persons, the declaration of a “plague in the law” in the international search and the forced expulsion of persons from his environment are resolved.
The activities for the detection and documentation of criminal representatives were carried out jointly with the staff of the department of operational and investigative work in the Southern Region of the Department for the Execution of Criminal Punishments.
