The National Police implements new projects for the safety of the population — Igor Klymenko
As part of a working visit to Rivne region today, October 15, the Head of the National Police of Ukraine together with the First Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Beloshytskyi during the meeting discussed the implementation of the previously announced project to optimize the police response to applications and appeals of citizens.
Representatives of the Department of Organizational and Analytical Support and Operational Response, the Department of Preventive Activities, the Management of the GUNP in Rivne Region, the Rivne Regional State Administration, the Rivne Regional State Administration and the Dubenska RVA were also invited to discuss organizational aspects regarding the implementation of the new security initiative in Dubno district center.
“This is the first project, the algorithm of actions in which over time will be introduced throughout Ukraine,” Ihor Klymenko noted. “And this is a continuation of the major reform of the National Police, which aims to improve the provision of police services to the population.”
Recall that in Dubno district, the reform of patrol police and prevention units will soon begin in order to improve the provision of police services, improve response to reports and ensure maximum police presence.
As Vitaliy Koval, the head of Rivne Regional State Administration, added, it is gratified that Rivne region is a platform for security initiatives: “We already have experience in implementing the project “Police Officer of the Community”, which declared close cooperation of the authorities. Both the patrol police and the community police officers have vindicated themselves. Therefore, the expansion of these key units will play a positive role in creating a safe environment.”
The head of the GUNP in Rivne region Oleksiy Kamyshansky noted that the process of optimizing the work of the police in responding to applications and appeals of citizens will allow to improve and bring the initiated case to a logical conclusion.
Also, as part of the working visit, the leadership of the National Police inspected the partially renovated premises, where the patrol police will be stationed. According to the pilot project, their service area will also be expanded.
Also, Igor Klymenko met with the personnel and presented departmental honors on the occasion of the Day of the Defender and Defender of Ukraine.
