The National Guard received modern equipment for the treatment and rehabilitation of servicemen
The National Guard received modern rehabilitation equipment for almost half a million euros. It will allow more troops to undergo treatment and recovery. Now a lot of attention is paid to creating conditions for quality treatment and rehabilitation of guards. So that those who have suffered injuries and injuries can receive specialized medical care and undergo further rehabilitation.
These days, thanks to the Global Security Sector Reform Fund GS Foundation, the National Guard received modern equipment, namely: low-frequency pulse electromyostimulation apparatus, low-frequency laser therapy apparatus, Multi-Joint Constant Speed Training & Evaluation ZEPU-AI 4 System.
New rehabilitation devices will be used to relieve pain, improve blood supply and tissue trophism, restore muscle function, increase muscle strength, tone and endurance, treat paresis and paralysis, reduce spasticity, relieve musculo-tonic symptoms, accelerate regeneration and accelerate wound healing, removal of inflammation.
Deputy Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine for Logistics Brigadier General Alexander Bilous thanked the representatives of the fund and stressed that such equipment for National Guard medics will give a significant result, and most importantly - will allow recovery for more servicemen. He also presented the foundation with honors for cooperation.
In turn, the head of the military medical department, Colonel of the Medical Service Vsevolod Stebliuk thanked the benefactors, as well as the medical staff of the NGU. He also spoke about the work that is now being carried out in the field of medical provision, in particular on the front line. He also noted that among the priorities of medical provision of NGU are modernization, creation of comfortable working conditions for medical workers and expansion of the list of medical services, in particular rehabilitation.
The Global Security Sector Reform Foundation works on the strategic directions of the German government's interministerial strategy to support security sector reforms. Currently, the Foundation pays special attention to work with Ukraine. The National Guard already has experience of cooperation with the Foundation to receive humanitarian assistance. Already this year, other projects are envisaged aimed at helping the components of the security sector of Ukraine.
