Today, among those who defend our land from an insidious enemy are artists of culture and art. They not only fulfill their immediate service and combat tasks, but also make a great contribution to the cultural component of our state.

One of them Boris Danyliuk is a fighter of the National Guard of Ukraine, who not only defends our country, but also creates monuments and monuments to perpetuate the exploits and heroism of the defenders. One way to achieve this goal, the man says, is to involve the younger generation in studying history and nurturing patriotic values.

The sculptor-guardsman proposes to include monuments dedicated to the Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War and the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred in the school curriculum. This would contribute to the upbringing of a new society, which would not care what events were happening around, which heroes stood up for universal values at the right time.

The military is also actively working on the immortalization of Heroes in different cities of Ukraine. For example, he now focuses on the creation of commemorative memorials in Zaporizhia and in the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, Berdyansk and Melitopol.

“We are currently working on an important project in Zaporizhzhia. Our team plans to install a monument to the Virgin. On one of the parapets will be displayed the names of the heroes of the guards, and on the second - an information row that will tell about the events taking place today. The central element of the monument will be the image of the Virgin Mary, who is the patroness of the Cossacks and Ukraine in general,” says Boris Danyliuk.

These memorials will become symbols of remembrance that will tell about the events that took place in these cities, and will honor the dead heroes who bravely resisted the occupier.
