National Guard Serhiy Poznyak took part in the all-Ukrainian forum of entrepreneurs 2023 Forbes Ukraine
The other day, the Entrepreneurs Forum 2023 from Forbes Ukraine was held in the capital with the participation of owners of leading businesses and military veterans.
According to the organizers, the idea of the event was to help business owners in Ukraine learn about the history and work cases of large companies during the war, opportunities to attract international investments and scale their enterprises, as well as actively support Ukrainian veterans who returned from the advanced and underwent rehabilitation to integrate into space of the state. In addition to civilian entrepreneurs, the organizers invited representatives of the forces and defense sectors. Now the military, and before the full-scale invasion of the Russian forces in Ukraine, the owners of successful companies.
The founder of FinStream and Cronvest, the chairman of the Veteran Entrepreneurs Association — Sergeant of the National Guard of Ukraine Serhiy Poznyak came to tell about his experience and the trials that he had to face, about the clear conviction that work and partnership with veterans is an opportunity to create a prosperous society.
“On February 24, I handed over all the powers to my team on two projects, they were successfully engaged in business all year. I didn't even turn on when I came in between rotations, it was difficult psychologically and physically. And then, when I got injured and lay in the hospital, it was not at all before. Now, as a soldier, I have no right to engage in business activities, but I will definitely return after the Victory of Ukraine.
However, I am currently the chairman of the Veteran Entrepreneurs Association. This is such an SEO club, but for veterans. It has a business component, where they communicate in the business community, we build a high-quality association where there will be veterans, from those servicemen who were directly at the front and who have a business,” the National Guard said.
The issue of the development of the Ukrainian economy is very relevant now, when a large number of companies and enterprises from February 24, 2022 were forced to close or suspend operations, move from occupied or destroyed territories by the enemy and practically start from scratch. Therefore, the editor-in-chief and founder of Forbes Ukraine Volodymyr Fedorin together with the team decided to unite Ukrainian entrepreneurs by organizing a forum.
The 2023 Forbes Ukraine Entrepreneurs Forum ended with a pre-premiere screening of a documentary about the soldiers of the assault brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Charter”. The funds that managed to raise UAH 1,000,000 from the event, according to the founding editor, will be transferred to purchase equipment for the Ohmatdyt children's clinic.
