National Guard Julia: “My faith in Victory grows stronger every day”
The morning of February 24 for Julia began, as for everyone, with a signal of full combat readiness. Although the war for the guard began long before the full-scale invasion of the Russians.
“I have been in the National Guard since 2017. At that time, the war in the East had been going on for 3 years. Therefore, taking the oath, I understood that this is not just a solemn ritual. This is a real readiness to stand with weapons in hand to defend the Motherland,” says the guard convincingly.
In 2019, Julia performed combat missions in the area of the Joint Forces and realized that despite the maelstrom of peaceful life in our cities and villages, the breath of war was very close. Julia recalls: “There was a serious education there.
A few hours' drive from their hometown to the task force area in the east — and the illusion of security in which people were then here at home melted before our eyes.”
Living in the field, being able to organize an unpretentious life, and, most importantly, to be ready every second to take the fight — this experience helped Julia to gather internally when the full-scale Russian invasion began. Fears were only for the life of his son, for his loved ones. But these experiences even more motivated the guard to do everything to win, for the sake of the future children.
“After six months of war, I will say this: the belief that we will defeat the enemy grows stronger every day. I see this attitude in my brothers as well. No despair, just hard daily work. I always think about my son: what future awaits my child? And I am one hundred percent convinced — a peaceful, happy life, in a flourishing free country!”, - says the girl.
