National Guardsmen shot down an enemy Mi-24 helicopter near Bakhmut
The calculation of the PZRK 3 operational brigade destroyed the Russian Mi-24 attack helicopter in Donetsk region.
The attack helicopter dealt fire damage to our units and covered from the air enemy infantry, which attacked the line of defense of the Ukrainian defenders. Guards note that the helicopter from hitting the missile began to lose altitude and descend, the fate of the pilot is unknown.
“On February 7, at 14:12 hours in the area of the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut, the National Guard detected two enemy Mi-24 helicopters, one target was captured and destroyed by an anti-aircraft gun from the Igl-1 anti-aircraft missile defense system,” says the head of the 3rd Air Defense Brigade Operational Assignment Brigade on Psep. vdo Partisan.
It should be noted that this is the third Russian helicopter shot down by units of the 3rd Brigade of the Operational Task Force of the National Guard of Ukraine during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops.
As a result of the combat work of the anti-aircraft guns of the 3 operational brigade in the Bakhmut direction, the occupiers partially lose their combat capability and air superiority.
