National Guard Detained Two Foreigners in Donbas
At an observation post in the Luhansk region, a kilometer from the demarcation line, fighters of the NGU detained two Azerbaijani citizens.
After conducting an inspection, the National Guards found that the period of stay of one of them expired on January 10, the other — was on the territory of Ukraine for no reason. It was also revealed that the men had previously served sentences in the form of imprisonment. The soldiers of the NGU handed over the detainees to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine for establishing the circumstances and further making a legal decision.
For reference. From January 10 to 16, soldiers of the NGU as part of the Joint Forces provided protection of public order in 6 settlements of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. According to the results of the tasks, the National Guard inspected more than 37 thousand vehicles and more than 51 thousand citizens, 70 people were detained, of them for committing a criminal offense - 14, an administrative offense - 56.
