The National Guard prevented two attempts to cross the border illegally
Units of the National Guard of Ukraine together with employees of the State Border Guard Service are involved in the special operation “Frontier 2023”. It began on April 27 and will last two months in the Transcarpathian and Chernivtsi regions.
The military personnel of the NGU are involved to strengthen control over compliance with the regime of the State Border and stabilize the situation in the relevant areas. Transcarpathian National Guards together with the soldiers of Mukachevo and Chopsky border detachments carry out activities within the framework of a special operation in certain areas of the region.
Since the beginning of the operation, the guards have stopped two attempts to illegally cross the border. The suspects were detained and handed over to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
