In Zhytomyr region, a teenager was injured by explosives: rules of safe behavior from police
Law enforcement officers of the Korosten Regional Administration received a message about the delivery of a teenager with an arm injury to a local hospital. The schoolboy, along with his friends, was near the railway tracks. There they found an unknown metal object. One of the teenagers made several stone strikes at the find, followed by an explosion.
The boy was hospitalized in the surgical department of the city hospital. Now the police establish all the circumstances of the incident.
Law enforcement officials urge citizens, especially children, to immediately inform emergency services in case of detection of suspicious unknown objects (tel. 101 or 102).
It is important for adults and children to remember - in case of detection of suspicious objects, weapons and ammunition, in no case should they be moved, carried, disassembled, broken, heated, etc. They carry a potential danger to you and others. Moreover, you can not bring such things home.
You should mark the location of the find with a branch, a bright cloth, in any other accessible way and warn other people about the danger.
The detection of such objects or substances should be reported to special services: rescuers or police.
