The Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky said about this today, February 12, following the results of the tactical and special exercises conducted by units of the National Police, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service and the State Service of Ukraine on Emergency Situations, which took place in the territory of certain settlements of the Kherson region, near the administration strategic border with the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Denis Monastyrsky noted that the conducted trainings, in which 1300 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part, showed the coherence of the actions of personnel to timely and effective response to destabilizing factors that may arise in the country.
“Today we saw an impressive demonstration of the capabilities and capabilities of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This is the result of the strong work of all departments. We are at a high level. To protect the safety of citizens of Ukraine, there are really extraordinary professional specialists,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The main objective of the exercises is the clear organization and coordination of interaction between the units of the Central Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the urgent response and stabilization of the situation at the border, the cessation of mass riots, the deblocking of seized critical infrastructure and administrative buildings and the release of hostages.
Denis Monastyrsky stressed that the interaction of the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is established.
“Each unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system has its own specifics of work. Employees of the National Police, soldiers of the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard, as well as rescuers of the State Emergency Service showed a high level of complex work. We are improving and strengthening the capabilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the safety of our citizens,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stressed.
Recall that today, near the Crimea, tactical and special training of units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place. The maneuvers were conducted in critical proximity to the conditional border with the occupied territories.
