In Zaporizhzhia, the police record the consequences of a large-scale armed attack
During the day, Russian troops destroyed more than 20 residential buildings. The enemy fired on civilians in Orikhov, Gulyaypol, Komyshuvakha and other settlements of Polovsk and Zaporizhzhya districts. There is information about injured citizens.
Police of Zaporizhzhya region continue to work in a strengthened mode and document every fact of armed crimes by Russian invaders. Over the past day, the police received 29 reports of Russian servicemen shelling residents of Shevchenkivske village and Komyshuvaha village of Zaporizhzhya district, towns of Orikhov and Gulyaypol, village of Zaliznychnogo, as well as villages of Mala Tokmachka and Yurkivka Pologovka District.
Russian troops fired exclusively at civilian infrastructure. As a result, residential private and apartment buildings suffered significant destruction. Some of the dwellings from direct missile strikes are not suitable for habitation.
The buildings suffered considerable damage from the shock wave. They hung windows and doors, destroyed walls, destroyed yard territory, fences, homestead buildings, parked cars.
Injured citizens were taken to medical institutions for treatment.
The collected materials were transferred to the USBU in Zaporizhzhya region for opening criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (Violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
