In Zaporizhzhia, the police forcibly expelled a citizen of the Russian Federation, who was illegally in Ukraine for 11 years
Zaporizhzhya police carried out measures to forcibly expel a citizen of the Russian Federation, who has been illegally in Ukraine for more than 11 years. The foreigner was exposed by employees of the police department No. 2 of the Zaporizhzhya regional administration while responding to a call about domestic violence.
A resident of the Vilnyansky district of Zaporizhzhya region turned to the special line “102” for help. She reported aggression and threats of violence from a civilian man.
At the scene, the police found that the 29-year-old man committed physical and psychological violence against her during the conflict with his roommate, which was expressed in verbal insults with obscene words, pushing and threats of physical abuse.
During the preparation of administrative materials under Part 1 of Art. 173-2 KUPap (Committing domestic violence, gender-based violence, failure to comply with an urgent prohibition order or failure to notify the place of his temporary stay), law enforcement officers established that the offender is a citizen of the Russian Federation who is in Ukraine illegally.
As it turned out, the man entered the territory of our country at a minor age. Upon reaching the age of 20, according to the requirements of the country of origin, he had to exchange his passport of the Russian Federation. The foreigner ignored this requirement and did not apply to the Russian consulate, and in October 2011 he expired the permitted period of stay in Ukraine. Since then, he has gone into an illegal position and is avoiding returning to Russia.
After identification of his identity and production of documents, the violator of migration legislation will be returned to the country of origin.
We remind you that you can report possible violations of migration legislation by calling 102.
