Transporter of conscripted men with “clients” was detained in Transcarpathia
The border guards, together with the police, detained a car whose driver was carrying four men in military service in the direction of the border with Romania.
Thus, the operatives of the State Border Guard Service received information about the probable illegal activity and with the employees of Rakhiv district police department of the Main Department of the NP in the Zakarpattia region stopped the vehicle for inspection.
The car was driven by a resident of the city of Rakhiv. His passengers were three residents of Transcarpathia and one from Cherkasy region. All men of conscription age.
Law enforcement officers found out that the driver took his passengers to the village of Dilove, where they planned to illegally cross the border with Romania. Dealok valued his services at 3.5 thousand euros from one of his “clients” and 3 thousand dollars from others.
Currently, the issue of initiating a pre-trial investigation under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine” is being resolved.
