In Transcarpathia, law enforcement officers eliminated another channel of illegal transportation of persons across the border
Yesterday, May 29, operational officers of the Chop Border Detachment detained persons involved in the illegal transfer from Ukraine of men of conscription age.
Within the framework of criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Art. 332 Criminal Code of Ukraine law enforcement officers detained two defendants on the outskirts of Mukachevo during their direct commission of an offense. The man and his accomplice, for a monetary reward of $7,000, brought a client to the border with Hungary. The latter was detained in administrative order.
Also, law enforcement officers conducted authorized searches at five residential addresses of criminal proceedings, during which they seized cash, flash drives, draft records, bank cards, cassette, knife, mobile phones, seals of sole proprietors and other documents.
The events were held jointly with the employees of the National Police, the Security Service of Ukraine, under the procedural guidance of the Transcarpathian Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Western region.
Investigative actions are currently underway.
