The Khmelnytskyi region paid tribute to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky
The Khmelnytsky University of Management and Law named after Leonid Yuzkov honored the memory of Denis Monastyrsky, who died in a plane crash in the city on January 18. Brovary during the performance of official duties.
The commemoration was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Bogdan Drapyaty, Acting State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk, First Deputy Head of the National Police Mykhailo Kuznetsov, staff of Khmelnytsky University and other officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The staff of the Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytsky University of Management and Law expressed condolences to the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and relatives of the victims. Those present bowed their heads in mourning to honor the memory of the outstanding alumnus — Denis Monastyrsky.
The death of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is an irreparable loss and an extraordinary pain not only for the state, but also for the academic family of the University. Therefore, in the near future, the meeting of the Academic Council will consider the question of how to perpetuate the memory of Denis Monastyrsky in an educational institution.
For reference: in 2002 Denis Monastyrsky graduated with honors from Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytsky University of Management and Law, where later — from 2005 to 2016, he taught at the Department of Theory and History of State and Law. In total, he worked as a teacher for more than 10 years. In 2009, he defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Law, the topic of his research was “The stability of the law: the concept, essence and factors of provision”.
