The city of Beryslav The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated from Russian invaders on November 11, now the police are carrying out stabilization measures there. Police officers respond to statements of criminal crimes and crimes of occupiers, reports of explosive objects, carry out work to identify those involved in collaborative activities.
On the first day, employees of the Beryslav district police department together with the State Emergency Service visited the Beryslav Central District Hospital, talked with medical workers and learned that the wounded from other areas of the Kherson region were being treated there. Due to the lack of communication, patients could not inform their relatives about their location and state of health. The police took contact phones and informed the relatives of the injured.
The administrative building of the Beryslav district police department, as well as other buildings in the city, suffered significant damage from shelling by the Russian military.
Law enforcement officers raised a yellow-blue cordon over the premises of the police department.
Police officers work 24/7 to stabilize the situation in the city, document war crimes of the Russian army, ensure security and provide assistance to citizens.
