16 collaborators and state traitors were exposed in Kherson region and Zaporizhzhia
Local residents voluntarily decided to build a career in illegally created departments by the occupiers. According to the materials collected by the internal security of the police, the defendants were declared suspicious.
Employees of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police of Ukraine continue to identify persons serving in illegal authorities in the temporarily occupied territories.
Operatives of the Kherson department of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police identified five women and six men - residents of the Kherson region who supported Russia and went to work in the “expert criminalist center of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Kherson region”. For loyalty to the occupiers, three of them took leading positions in the fake body, and four even received officer titles of the occupation “militia”.
At present, the investigators of the USBU in the Kherson region, under the procedural leadership of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, have announced their suspicion in absentia under Part 7 of Art. 111-1 (Collaborative activity) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For work on the enemy, the defendants face up to fifteen years in prison.
And the employees of the Zaporizhzhya Department of Internal Security of NPU and TU SBR, located in the city of Melitopol, established the involvement of five former Zaporizhzhia law enforcement officers who remained in the occupied territory and continued to serve under the flag of the aggressor country. Under the procedural guidance of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Prosecutor's Office, they were criminalized in absentia under Part 2 of Art. 111 (State treason) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
