In Kherson region, NGU sappers defused almost half a thousand explosive objects
Over the past week, about 800 hectares of terrain, 3 km of roads, 15 km of power lines and 473 explosive objects were examined in the area of the settlements of Andriivka, Skhidnoe and Muzykivka.
Also, demining groups of the National Guard in Zaporizhzhya, Luhansk, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions during the past week examined about 18 km of roads and defused 12 explosive objects.
From May 10, the demining group of the 2nd Shostkin Regiment began to perform tasks on demining agricultural land defined by the minutes of the meeting of the National Mine Control Authority in the village of Belki, Sumy region.
Guards take an active part in the return to peaceful life in the liberated territories, ensuring their demining, delivery of humanitarian aid, conducting counter-sabotage measures, patrolling and serving at checkpoints.
