The operation to overcome the consequences of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power plant continues in the Kherson region
811 police officers are currently involved to overcome the emergency situation. Law enforcement officers intensively patrol coastal and flooded areas, provide assistance to citizens, evacuate the population, and are on duty at observation posts in 35 settlements.
Currently, 2720 people have been evacuated, of which 2017 — from the “Karabel” microdistrict in Kherson. A total of 32 settlements in the right-bank Kherson region were flooded. The water level continues to fall. The work to save people continues.
