In Kherson region, police evacuated a family with five children from the combat zone
Employees of the Beryslav district police department of the Kherson region, together with colleagues from the Dnipropetrovsk region, conducted a special operation to rescue a large family from the combat zone.
A family with five young children aged 1 to 10 years was evacuated by the police from Vesele village of Novokakhovsk city community, located on the shore of the Kakhovsky reservoir. Residents lived under occupation for 260 days until Vesele was liberated by the Armed Forces in November 2022. But even after that, the Russian occupiers continue to terrorize the civilian population by shelling the village daily from the left bank.
It is known that the operation to rescue a large family also took place during the shelling. Despite the risks, the police acted quickly and professionally, so that all members of the evacuation team remained unharmed and reached their destination safely. Parents and children were taken out of the danger zone by two armored cars. Then, accompanied by a paramedic, they were taken to Kherson, where the evacuees were met by representatives of the OVA and volunteers.
For now, the family is safe, there is no threat to their health and life.
