A local deputy who headed an illegal authority during the occupation was detained in Kharkiv region
The enemy manual performed administrative and economic functions and advised local residents to cooperate with the occupiers.
Employees of the Kharkiv Department of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police and the USBU in the Kharkiv region established the location of a deputy of one of the village councils of Kharkiv district, who since April 2022 cooperated with the enemy during the temporary occupation of the territory of the community. For “showing love” to the aggressor country, the man received the position of the head of the “Lipetsk Administration of the military-civil administration of the Kharkiv region”.
The enemy manual performed administrative and economic functions, advised local residents to cooperate with the occupiers, organized sowing and harvesting, for the further export of agricultural products to Russia, managed the property of the territorial community and participated in the creation of the so-called “people's militia”.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the defector was detained in procedural order and informed of the suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 111-1 (Collaborative activity) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
