Rescuers continue to provide emergency response in Kharkiv
During the day from October 15 to 16, the rescuers of the Kharkiv garrison of the SNS continued to perform their duties in wartime conditions and made 19 operational sorties.
In particular, 11 firefighting sorties were made, one of which was caused by enemy shelling (p. Zybyne in the Volchansky territorial community of Chuguev district). During the day, two people were injured in fires in Kharkiv region.
Twice the emergency workers went out to carry out emergency and rescue work. In addition, six trips were made to assist the population, police and utilities.
Pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service seized and defused 555 explosive objects within 24 hours on the territory of the region.
Rescuers also continued to provide residents of de-occupied settlements of Kupyansk and Izyum districts of the region with drinking and technical water. With the help of tanks, about 54 tons of water were delivered to people.
