In Kharkiv region, police seized the body of a man who died as a result of Russian aggression
He received fatal bodily injuries in early March this year during Russian shelling. The deceased was buried in the local cemetery.
On March 10, investigators of the Izyum District Police Department inspected the scene and exhumed the body.
According to preliminary conclusions of the expert, the man was injured as a result of enemy shelling. Forensic examination is prescribed to establish the person of the deceased and the causes of his death.
Investigative actions were carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings opened under Part 2 of Art. 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for between 10 and 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.
