In Kharkiv region, police seized counterfeit tobacco products worth more than 3 million hryvnias
Law enforcers of the investigative department of the GUNP in the Kharkiv region, together with the operatives of the USSR in the Kharkiv region of the DSR NPU, under the procedural leadership of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, conducted 8 sanctioned searches at the addresses of the sale of illegally manufactured goods.
More than 12 thousand packs of hookah tobacco, 770 electronic cigarettes and 895 containers of liquid for electronic smoking devices were found.
Also found were financial, economic and accounting documentation, mobile phones, hard drives and cash in the amount of almost 70 thousand hryvnias.
Substantive evidence is extracted and sent to expert research.
Investigative actions were carried out in Kharkiv within the framework of criminal proceedings opened under Part 1, 2 of Article 204 (illegal manufacture, storage, sale or transportation for the purpose of sale of excisable goods) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
