An updated border unit was opened in Volyn
Yesterday, after a complete reconstruction, one of the branches of the border service inspectors of the Volyn detachment was opened. Today, the unit meets all standards of modern border management. During the repair work, the administrative building, the box for automotive machinery and commercial buildings were brought into operation. Work was carried out on the laying of all communications.
The personnel of the unit as part of the Ukrainian Defense Forces provide protection of the border with Belarus for a length of several tens of kilometers. The site is securely fortified from an engineering point of view and equipped with video surveillance cameras.
The head of the border detachment Serhiy Lozinsky thanked all those who participated in the development of the unit and the arrangement of the border, and noted the best servicemen of the unit.
