The 50th police station opened in Vinnytsia region as part of the implementation of the “Community Police Officer” project
On August 12, a police station was opened in the territorial community of Pohrebyshcha. From now on, two police officers will help and protect citizens here.
The memorandum on cooperation of the GUNP in the region with the largest community in the Vinnytsia region was signed in early February, but the implementation of its obligations due to military actions in Ukraine had to be postponed.
In this territory, the police officer of the community Dmitry Ryndyuk was already on duty. He knows almost all the inhabitants. It serves 29 villages.
A month ago, he had a partner - Serhiy Ptushka from Luhansk region. The man worked as a community police officer in Severodonetsk. But due to rocket attacks, he lost his station and was forced to leave his hometown together with his family. The second home for Sergei's family was Vinnytsia. The police captain has been working for the first month, but has already managed to save an employee of the village council, who fainted and fell.
Serhiy Ptushka will protect and protect the peace in 12 settlements. Under his care will be 6 local residents, who from now on do not have to go to the police station with their problems, because they have the opportunity to contact the police officer on the spot.
