Security Class opened in Sumy region
Another “Safety Class” was launched at the Akhtyrka Secondary School No. 6. On its basis, employees of the Rescue Service held a thematic lesson with children.
In an interactive form, schoolchildren were taught how to avoid danger, to act correctly when detecting explosive objects and in other extreme situations. For better assimilation of important knowledge, rescuers used visual materials developed by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine together with the UN Children's Fund “UNICEF Ukraine”.
Recall that in the city. Okhtyrka relevant classes are already functioning in 3 educational institutions — secondary schools No. 3, No. 5, No. 9.
The opening of such educational safe spaces on the territory of Sumy region contributes to the formation of the younger generation a responsible attitude towards their own safety and the mastering of children skills of behavior in various dangerous situations.
