In the capital city of Podil, police exposed another illegal activity of a fraudulent call center
Law enforcement officers identified 197 employees, seized 725 units of equipment and documentation. In addition, investigators have opened criminal proceedings on the fact of hooliganism in the office premises.
On August 3, in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv, law enforcement officers documented the illegal activities of another call center. Recall that a few days ago police officers discovered the fact of illegal operation of such a call center.
Inside the premises were employees, and the office itself is equipped with computers, telephones and about 700 jobs are provided for the “dispatchers”. The police found the personal data of 197 office employees and during an urgent search seized 725 units of equipment.
In addition, law enforcement officers documented the fact of damage to property. As it became known, a group of young men knocked out the front doors and windows on the first floor of the building. With the strong support of the special officers of the regiment No. 1 and the help of the analysts of the capital chapter, the employees of the Podolsk Police Department detained 4 active participants in the crime. These are residents of Kyiv region, 1990, 1992, 1993 years of birth, and Kyiv resident, 1993 year of birth. Measures are underway to detain two more offenders.
Investigators of the Podolsk Police Department entered this fact into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 3 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - fraud committed on a large scale or through illegal operations using electronic computer technology, and also initiated criminal proceedings on the fact of hooliganism under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
