“In the course of the above measures, the National Guards detained 17 people who allegedly collaborated with the occupying authorities, discovered and seized rounds of various calibers, grenades, more than 530 shells and mines for artillery systems,” said the interim acting director Colonel Mykola Urshalovich of the Department of Application Planning of the Main Directorate of the National Guard, on Thursday, during a briefing on the situation at the front, the results of the performance of combat tasks by units of the National Guard and the implementation of law enforcement tasks.
He also noted that despite the daily shelling and constant attempts of the enemy to advance, the personnel of the operational units of the National Guard effectively carry out combat tasks to defend the Motherland in various directions.
Thus, during the past week, during the offensive actions of the enemy in the area of the settlements of Bakhmut and Kurdyumovka of Donetsk region, the fighters of the First Presidential and Pechersk Brigades in one of the battles destroyed about 50 enemy personnel. And on the western outskirts of the village of Mykolaivka, the Second Personnel of the Brigade named after the Hero of Ukraine Sergeant Sergei Mikhalchuk destroyed 2 grenade launchers with grenade launchers and about 10 enemy personnel.
In addition, Mykola Urshalovych noted that on November 22, as a result of successful counteroffensive actions, the personnel of the battalion group of the Slobozhanska Brigade advanced 1.5 km in a certain direction, took over the enemy positions and captured the enemy's “Aistonok” radar and continues to develop success.
He also said that during the past week, artillery units carried out more than 130 fire missions to destroy enemy personnel, weapons and equipment. The destruction of the ammunition depot, combat and automotive equipment and up to a company of enemy life force was confirmed.
The forces and means of intelligence units detected 298 enemy targets of them, observation posts - 51, calculations of unmanned aircraft complexes - 76, and means of radio-electronic reconnaissance - 171.
