In the South, border guards destroyed 3 kamikaze drones, and in Volyn they landed a drone with 22 kg of drugs
Mobile fire groups of border guards, together with the Defense Forces, continue to destroy Russian air vehicles. Tonight, Russian occupation forces again terrorized the south of Ukraine with Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones.
In difficult conditions of night visibility, mobile fire groups of border guards of the Odessa detachment managed to “remove” 2 enemy UAVs from the sky. Another shaheed was shot down by the fighters of the Kherson border detachment.
But on the outskirts of one of the border settlements in Volyn, border guards and SBU officers shot down a copter with two packages containing 22.5 kg of drugs.
Three persons involved in illegal activities were carried out sanctioned searches: drones and other physical evidence were found. Law enforcement officers seized a drone and a drug, as well as three cars that smugglers used to carry out illegal trafficking.
Persons have been informed of the suspicion, and so far the court has chosen a preventive measure for them in the form of detention.
