A memorial plaque was erected to the defender of Mariupol in Odesa region
Guardsman Arthur Savelyev with the nickname Gump is 21 years old forever. He served in the Azov brigade and heroically defended the city of Mariupol from the invaders of the terrorist country. In honor of the deceased warrior, a memorial plaque was opened in the lyceum where Arthur studied, so that in mourning they would bow their heads low in front of him.
The event was attended by the mother of the national guard, classmates, representatives of the 11 brigade named after Mikhail Hrushevsky of the Southern OTO NGU.
“I am very happy and grateful to God that I had such a son who grew up to be a defender, a hero, a worthy person. He was a loyal friend and had an open soul. Man is alive as long as the memory of him lives. I really want you to remember his smile, kindness, laughter and love he gave,” says the mother of the dead guard.
The rally ended with the laying of flowers on a memorial plaque to the warrior. Those present and brothers will never forget that Arthur gave the most precious thing for the independence and freedom of his native country — his life.
