The organizer of the illegal transaction and three evaders were detained in Odesa region
The organizer of the illegal transportation of evaders was taken by operatives of the Izmail and Belgorod-Dnestrovsky border detachments together with employees of the National Police in the village of Gradenytsi.
A 30-year-old local resident for a cash reward of 4.5 thousand US dollars per person tried to transport three men across the Kuchurgan estuary to an unrecognized PMR. In the officer's car, law enforcement officers found means to overcome the water obstacle - three sets of rubber fishing boots and a large inflatable rubber mattress with a pump, as well as mosquito repellents.
In addition, cash from “grateful customers” in the amount of $13.5 thousand was found and withdrawn in the vehicle.
Currently, the clever organizer has been detained as part of criminal proceedings, and three men who tried to use his services have been brought to administrative responsibility under Article 204-1 of the KUPAP “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”.
