In Odesa region, border guards exposed a group of smugglers of evaders
The group of persons who illegally transported citizens of Ukraine abroad was recently exposed by the border guards of the Podolsk detachment together with representatives of the Migration Police.
In particular, during the implementation of operational information, on the outskirts of s. Goryachivka border guards found two citizens of Ukraine who planned to cross the border.
It turned out that a 36-year-old local resident helped a soldier, a 22-year-old resident of Dnipropetrovsk region, illegally cross the border. As it became known, the guy contacted the organizer of the move through the group in social networks. He was told that for 4500 US dollars they would help to leave the country. Arriving from m. From Odessa on a suburban train to the border, he was met by a forwarder who hid the evader in the basement of his house for several hours. Subsequently, the owner of the apartment instructed the young man and indicated the direction of movement, but the border guards prevented the implementation of the idea.
Also, during the subsequent inspection, law enforcement officers found two more people, residents of the village. Sobolivka of Podilsky district, which, most likely, are involved in the transportation of a resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
At the moment, two organizers have been notified of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code “Illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine”, which provides for imprisonment for a term of five to seven years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years.
