In Odesa region, police officers found a 4-year-old boy within five hours and handed him over to his relatives
The child was searched for about five hours by police, military and local residents. Dog trainers attracted a service dog. The boy was found a kilometer from his home - he was stuck in a swamp and could not call for help.
Relatives noticed the disappearance of the child at 11 o'clock. For an hour of independent searches that yielded nothing, the grandmother turned to the police for help, noting that the grandson has health disorders and hardly speaks.
This greatly complicated his search. The alarm of law enforcement was also caused by the fact that the family's house borders on a forest plantation, and nearby are the smooth Yagorlik rivers. Over time, it turned out that it was they who became a trap for the boy: there he was found by the district police officer Alexander Bondarenko and handed him to his relatives.
“Now everything is fine with the child, that's the main thing. After a thorough check, a decision will be made to hold the mother of the baby responsible for improper performance of parental duties, which could have caused the accident,” said the head of the juvenile prevention sector of the Podolsk district police department Ekaterina Nigretskul and thanked everyone who participated in the search for the child.
We urge parents to keep an eye on children, because they need the attention and care of adults.
