In Odesa region, the first graduate of the driving school for people with disabilities received a driver's license
Nadezhda Lenz dreamed of this for 20 years and thanks to the project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “Driving schools for persons with disabilities” it became a reality.
“I am very pleased that our region has joined this program. From now on, I will be able to travel freely in Odesa region and actively engage in public activities,” the woman shared.
Mrs. Nadezhda passed the theoretical exam perfectly from the first time. For more than a month, she took practical classes on a specially equipped car.
The project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “Driving schools for persons with disabilities” — implements the nationwide initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenska “Without Barriers”.
Driving schools for people with disabilities operate in seven cities — Kyiv, Dnipro, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Kropyvnytskyi, Lviv, Odessa and Kryvyi Rih.
