In Odesa region, a foreigner tried to speed up the passage with a bribe
Border guards of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky detachment recorded the fact of an attempt to give a bribe to the inspector of the border service.
A citizen of Moldova, who arrived at the Starokozache checkpoint, offered the border guards 50 euros and 2.5 thousand UAH in order to arrange him as soon as possible to leave Ukraine.
Such a proposal was refused by a military officer of the State DPSU and recorded this fact on a video camera.
During the clarification of the circumstances of granting illegal benefits to an official, it was found that the foreigner resorted to tricks in vain, because he had all the necessary documents with him for the legal crossing of the border.
On the detection of signs of a criminal offense, provided for in Art. 369 of the Criminal Code “Offer, promise or provision of an unlawful benefit to an official” was reported to the National Police.
