Ammunition detonated in Mykolaiv region: there are dead and wounded
Yesterday, August 6, in the village of Lyubyne, Bashtansky district, two men, while driving a car on a field road, ran into an unknown explosive object that detonated.
One man died in 1985, the other received shrapnel wounds in 1977.
Due to the fact that this area is potentially dangerous, the pyrotechnic department of the State Emergency Service was sent to the site. After examining the territory by specialists, doctors were able to evacuate the victim from the danger zone.
We emphasize that if you live in de-occupied territories, avoid traveling on field roads if possible. This area is potentially dangerous. The SNS sappers are doing everything possible to restore security to every corner of Ukraine, but the volume of mined territories is huge, so it takes time.
It should be noted that over the past week, sappers neutralized 2500 munitions. Among the finds are 7 aircraft bombs.
In total, since the beginning of a full-scale war, almost 419 thousand explosive objects have already been destroyed and more than 92 thousand hectares of territory have been surveyed.
