In Mykolaiv region, as a result of detonation on ammunition, a young man died, another is in hospital
The 101 hotline received a message that a car exploded on an anti-tank mine in Snigirovshchyna. As a result, a young man, born in 2000, died, another man, born in 1985, received numerous injuries and was hospitalized to a medical facility.
The area where the car was traveling turned out to be dangerous, as other munitions were found during the survey. The circumstances of the tragedy are established by law enforcement officers.
Fire engineers of the State Emergency Service are constantly carrying out work on the demining of territories. During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 127 times, 469 explosive items were detected, seized and neutralized, the area of 266.22 hectares was surveyed:
Donetsk Oblast
Surveyed 0.03 square km (2.96 ha, including 0.09 ha by mechanized demining machine) area, 0.1 km of gas pipeline and 1.14 km of power lines in Kramatorsk, Pokrovsky and Volnovsky raions, where 239 units were discovered and neutralized. VNP.
19 pyrotechnic (of which 1 mechanized demining) and 4 medical calculations (118 persons and 41 equipment) were involved.
Kharkiv Oblast
The area of 0.04 sq. km (4.7 ha, including 0.7 ha by mechanized demining machine) and 6.14 km of power lines in Izyum, Kupyansk, Kharkiv, Bogodukhiv and Chuguivsk regions were surveyed, where 82 units were detected and neutralized. VNP.
26 pyrotechnic (of which 2 mechanized demining), 1 engineering and 9 medical calculations (151 people and 61 equipment) were involved.
Kherson region
0.5 sq. km (50.36 ha including 1.37 ha by mechanized demining machine) of territory, 2 farms, 0.33 km of gas pipeline and 1.12 km of power lines in Beryslav and Kherson regions were surveyed, where 47 units were discovered and neutralized. VNP.
23 pyrotechnic (of which 3 mechanized demining) and 8 medical calculations (143 persons and 64 technicians) were involved.
Kyiv Oblast
Department of underwater mining of ARZ SP GU in Cherkasy region (14 people, 2 pieces of equipment and 3 vessels) conducted a survey of 199.5 hectares with a length of 3 km of water area. Dnipro (at the site from the city. Ukraine to m. Rzhyshchiv).
In total, since the beginning of the year (since February 24), the fire technicians of the State Emergency Service have made 70 thousand 414 engagements, detected and neutralized 432 thousand 340 units. VNP (including 3 thousand 95 aerial bombs). The area of 96.015 sq. km (96 thousand 015 hectares, including 237,627 hectares by mechanized mining machines) was surveyed.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: 22 thousand 957 times in Kharkiv region, 8 thousand in Kyiv region. 786, Donetsk region — 8 thousand 041, Mykolaiv region — 6 thousand 034, Kherson region — 7 thousand 710, Chernihiv region — 4 thousand 954, Sumy region — 2 thousand 522, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 321.
Rescuers once again appeal to citizens, especially to residents of de-occupied areas: due to armed aggression of the enemy, the territory is quite contaminated with explosive objects.
